Now in the existence for over 15 years, Tuleeni continues to expand its programs and offerings to the community. We hope that you will be able to take part in one or more of the many exciting events that we are offering.

One of the primary ways that Tuleeni can carry out its mission is through the assistance of generous supporters who raise funds on the children’s behalf. Fundraisers help Tuleeni by raising vital resources for the children and by raising awareness about the plight of orphans and vulnerable children.

We ask you to support our annual appeal by signup for fundraising and experiencing the pride we take in supporting our cause.

Our supporters have done some pretty amazing things to raise money. And they have new ideas every day. What will you do? Donate your birthday or take on a new challenge and raise money for Tuleeni children.

Whether you’re donating your birthday, starting a new adventure, or remembering someone you love, you can create your own fundraising page and rally your friends around the cause.

By asking your friends to give to Tuleeni, you will be able to give a loving home, education support, healthcare, medical insurance, and long-term support to these beautiful children. We’ll give you all the resources you need to promote your campaign.

Some examples of successful fundraisers held in the past include:

• Spread a word by telling your experience with Tuleeni Children.
• Holding a bake sale or Tanzania fabric, masks, and jewelry sale
• Organizing a benefit concert in honor of the Tuleeni children.
• Ask friends and family to make donations to Tuleeni in place of birthday or anniversary gifts.
• Having an “African Themed Night” with Tanzanian food, games, and movies.
• Running a marathon.
• Organizing a fundraising trek on Mt. Kilimanjaro

Online platforms make fundraising easy by offering personal pages with photos, the ability to share your fundraising page via email and social networks, and donation processing. Our friends and supporters have worked successfully with the following platforms;

1. Facebook Fundraiser,

3. Mightycause but there are many others.

In order to get donations, tax-deductible Tuleeni has to raise funds under the umbrella of “The Faraji Foundation” organization. The Faraji Foundation is headquartered in PO BOX 7314 Santa Rosa CA 95407-0314 and is a 501(c)(3) organization. EIN: 46-1300200. The IRS NTEE classification code is T30, Public Foundations within the Philanthropy, Voluntarism, and Grantmaking Foundations category. The IRS ruling year for tax exemption was 2013.
